Role Overview
Operating within a fast-paced environment, the Construction Operative is responsible for delivering response maintenance repairs. The role involves ensuring repair requests are completed efficiently and cost-effectively while providing a first-class service to customers.
The position focuses on the provision of Response Repair Services and Void Works, including fencing, concreting, demolition, and general minor building works.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Work on void and tenanted properties
Provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants
Carry out kerbing and flagging
Perform fencing installations and repairs
Complete block work
Conduct concreting and finishing tasks
Perform demolition work
Operate plant equipment where required
Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy at the end of each day
Follow instructions to meet client requirements
Maintain the highest standards of health and safety, using appropriate safety equipment
Complete and submit site or company documentation (electronic or paper-based) accurately and on time
Carry out any additional tasks required as part of the role
Education & Experience
Essential Criteria
Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to deliver high levels of customer service
Valid CSR license
Full driving license
